On the Hunt For Good Health – Celebrate May 24th Scavenger Hunt Day

May 24th is National Scavenger Hunt Day and our National DefinedPT Network encourages you and your team to get up, stretch, and have some fun! Workers’ Compensation Claims handling can be a stressful job. Teams of case managers, medical providers, adjusters, risk managers and workers’ comp vendors - Happy Hunting!

Work can be stressful. Luckily for us, May 24th is National Scavenger Hunt Day. Scavenger hunts are not only a great team-building activity but can also provide a healthy stress buster boost. Anyone can do it! Getting up from your workspace to stretch change positions helps increase range of motion and reduce the negative effects of sitting or standing all day.

The best thing about scavenger hunts is that they can be in person and virtually too. There are plenty of options for creating a workplace hunt. Some tips include: teaming up, setting a time limit, and making it company-related. Increase the excitement by adding a prize for the winners!

With lots of us working from home right now, virtual hunts are a blast. To ensure your scavenger hunt runs smoothly, here are a few ground rules.

  • All items must be found wherever you are currently located
  • Each item can only be used once
  • All photos or videos must be taken by the players
  • Any responses submitted after the time frame are ineligible.
  • Stay safe. At no point will the game require players to perform challenges that are dangerous or break the law.

On the hunt for strong physical therapists with solid workers’ compensation patient care experience, and a firm commitment to addressing return-to-work restrictions/PPD Ratings in a cost-effective timely manner? We hope you’ll consider our National Defined Physical Therapy Network Providers as the first choice for routine physical therapy care and Functional Capacity Evaluations within your workplace injury risk management program.
